Who is the Dark Angel?
From DiscoverPsychic
This is a two part question which needs a two part answer. What is dark? Here, it is described as something along spiritual lines. What is an angel? Most people say angels are spirits that guide and help us. So how could “dark” and “angel” coexist in one entity? Some people believe that when an angel falls, it becomes an angel of darkness. Other people say that a dark angel is the same as night crawlers, vampires or werewolves, etc.

[edit] What is an angel?
The simple answer is: an angel is anyone who helps someone out in a time of need or crisis. Other people say an angel is any spiritual being that performs a miracle to save your life or bring you out of an unpleasant circumstance. According to the Bible, an angel is a spiritual being that was created by God. This would mean it has not been around forever. People who claim to have seen angels state they have no physical body as we understand it, though it is believed that angels can appear as human beings. Because angels are created beings, they can not be in two places at one time, but they do carry with them intelligence, emotions and will. This would also apply to a dark angel.
[edit] What is dark?
For most people, the word dark on a spiritual level is associated with demonic and satanic practices and actions, emotions and thoughts. These can include jealousy, deceit, manipulation, selfishness and much more. What actions constitute as dark actions differ from religion to religion, but most tend to be the same. For non spiritual people, dark is only associated with the most disgraceful of human wrong doings, such as murder, sexual abuse or extreme immorality. For followers of Satan or demonic religions, dark can take on the opposite meaning when it goes against what they believe to be right or light.
[edit] What is a dark angel?
An angel of darkness has all the same attributes as an angel, except that it uses demonic and satanic ways to persuade people to follow a path of darkness. In other words, these kinds of angels are working for evil, not for good. Some believe they are created when an angel falls from heaven. While some people associate demons as being angels of darkness, this is contradicted in scripture. Demons possess people in the Old and New Testament, but angels do not. This creates a specific difference between a demon and an angel of darkness.
[edit] The Dark Angel
Most people agree that Satan is the definitive dark angel. He has different names, such as devil, Lucifer and more. According to Genesis, an angel falls from heaven when he tries to be God and goes against God. This is the Biblical story of Satan. Satan is associated with being the angel of darkness because his profile matches what is considered as dark, and he was a created angel of God until he fell. Also, because of the evil associated with Satan, it is common that he is seen as an angel of darkness and not just the devil.
