What is the Head Line?

Other than the life line, the head line is considered the most important line for palm readers to find during a palm-reading. They claim that this line touches on the beliefs and philosophy a person carries throughout their life, about life in general. This can range from religion, faith, lack of both or even what they feel they are on this earth for - what their purpose is. The head line is also said to give an idea about the person's intelligence and the way they think about things. It is not used so much to tell how smart a person is, but more of what they consider intelligence to be.

The head line is located just above the life line. It begins between the pointer finger and the thumb. From there it usually will run horizontally across the entirety of the palm, though where and how it ends is different on every person. It is broken up in three parts: youth, adulthood and old age.

This is not the type of person who is irrational in action or thought. Usually this person has a well thought out plan or idea and finds it hard to let their body or urges control their actions. During a palm-reading, palm readers will usually say these people were cautious during their childhood and tend to view that part of their lives and other people's lives with a certain amount of fear.

Separated lines

Watch out for these people! They like to live life in the fast lane and sometimes it can be dangerous. Palm readers peg these kind of people as highly adventurous. They are looking for thrilling things in life and have an enormous amount of enthusiasm for whatever life throws their way. Usually they tend to stay positive and cheerful - most of the time.

Straighter the line...

The straighter the line the more of a realist these people tend to be. There is not a lot of fluff in their lives and they like it that way.

Short line

During a palm-reading this type of line will tell the reader that this person tends to be limited in their thinking.

Wavy line

These people usually have the attention span of a gnat. They may be intelligent - highly intelligent, but just don't delve into their thoughts, or those of others, too deeply.

Downward curved line

This kind of line will tell a reader that the person receiving the reading has a great imagination and is very creative. This does not indicate an artist, but it could and more. It could mean this person will use their imagination and creativity towards engineering or architecture.

Everyone is a very unique individual and therefore generalized palm readings will never pin point who someone is. Even genuine palm readings may not accomplish that goal. People can change and there is no guarantee that the reading you get today will indefinitely tell you what you will be like for the rest of your life.
