The Secret is a movie, which tries to reveal the greatest secret of all time: the secret of attracting whatever you want. According to this movie, everybody can have whatever they wanted by merely wishing it. This is based on the experience of Rhonda Byrne's discovery of the Universal Law of Attraction from a 100-year-old book. This ancient book took Rhonda through the wisdom of many centuries and vividly showed her how people of essence of the past had in fact followed the principles of this Law to achieve the success they achieved in their lives.

The experience was such a revelation to Rhonda that she wanted to share it with the rest of the world, so everybody out there can have a chance of finding happiness, prosperity and whatever else they would seek. The movie is wonderful documentary created by putting together a number of interviews of people who have experienced the power of the Law of Attraction and how it has changed their lives.

The main thrust of this movie is on the power of human mind on the ability of attracting whatever they want from their lives. There is so much misery in everybody's life that it is not surprising that both the movie and the book of the same name have become so popular. How do you attract misery or happiness, according to this movie and the Law of Attraction, is by your thoughts. If your thoughts are centered on misery, fear, insecurity, wants, hatred, and the like all these throughout your life would envelop you. On the other hand if you learn to shut off all (and it is important to understand that it has to be ALL) the negative feelings, emotions and thoughts from your mind, you would be able to attract all good things from the Universe.

The Law of Attraction can be compared to a restaurant where the waiter hears your inner most thoughts and hurries to serve you the exact things you are thinking. The Secret says that you tell the waiter what you want, but in order for him or her to get you what you want, your mental order should perfectly match what comes out of your mouth. If there is no consensus, the Law of Attraction would listen to the negative stuff first and therefore where negative thoughts exist there can be no positive happenings.

The people interviewed bear witness to the power of this Law and their lives stand as proof that it works exactly as the 100-year-old book said it would do. Though it attracted a lot of dissension from the mainstream media, important personalities in many spheres of life have opined that there is definitely truth in this assumption.
