The Reincarnation Cycle
From DiscoverPsychic
According to many popular religious beliefs, as our soul develops spiritually, we will become reborn in our next, which will complete one reincarnation cycle. What you become in your next life is determined by what you already did in this life. For instance, a mass murderer will probably be reborn as a sewage-cleaner or, according to the Hare Krishnas, a less-evolved species, such as a worm.
Evidence of the reincarnation cycle was brought about by many hypnotists and prophets, such as Edgar Cayce, who claimed to be able to hypnotize patients and write down the vivid details of their past names, sexuality, and gender, as well as the foreign language they sometimes spoke. This cycle is also useful in keeping us conscientious and morally intact, as the believers strive to do many good deeds in this life, in order to be reborn into a higher-ranking state in their next lives. Some, perhaps, wish to become millionaires who own yachts, or the Queen of England.
People who believe in this reincarnation cycle are the same people who insist that Bill Gates, or other extremely lucky people, are those who had done many good deeds in their past lives. These good deeds could include feeding the poor, giving their lives in order to save others, or any similar large charitable sacrifice.
Indeed, it is not hard to see why the reincarnation cycle has prevailed through the ages. It would explain so much, such as why people are born into the social status they are born into, why some win many contests or the lottery, and some don’t, why some are erroneously punished by the law, and some who are guilty remain free from punishment. All this can be explained by the deeds they had done in their past lives, according to this theory.
Many methods for recalling past lives are practiced today. One would involve hiring a spiritual medium who is able to “see” who you were in your past life, or a fortuneteller who can read who you were in her tarot cards. Probably the most credible method would be hypnotism. Hypnotists give many accounts of children who reveal their reincarnation cycle upon being hypnotized. Everyone knows children cannot lie about some things. Indeed, when a child starts speaking in a haughty, foreign language, giving every imaginable detail of existence, including type of work and skills the child has no conceivable way of knowing, the reincarnation cycle really does reveal itself.
Reincarnation has been so widely believed by many generations and a large variety of cultures, that to contest it would be almost futile. This belief has been around since the Egyptian civilizations. This explains why they mummify their dead. They believe the soul stays with the same body and does not transmigrate as the reincarnation cycle requires. In addition, reincarnation would explain why sometimes a child is born with extraordinary musical abilities, or can just automatically draw portraits and paint high quality portraits without any previous training.
The reincarnation cycle would explain so many unanswerable questions that it seems this belief is here to stay. Delving into what your own past lives may have been can prove to be a fascinating exercise, which may also answer some questions that you may have.
