Telepathy: The Other Side of Intuition

There is an instinct that lies deep and dormant within most of us and is popularly referred to as ”telepathy.” However, there's a special group of people who are gifted with exceptional telepathic power and have put it to good use. In our own lives, this inherent instinct can help to exploit our strengths, especially during times of need or emergency. It can also be lots of fun when you attempt to discover this unique power of the mind along with a group of friends.

If intuition is the instinctive power of the sixth sense in every human being, telepathic power, in essence, is also a similar power that helps to communicate between two or more people, without using any of the five senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch). There's a further explanation to help you understand what telepathic power is all about. For example, when we know that something is occurring, or about to occur to someone, our intuitive powers will tell us so. While this is happening, we will actually be drawing from the latent resources of our unconscious minds. When a link takes place between the resources of two unconscious minds, and is on the same frequency, it is called telepathy. Telepathic communication between two minds can be either perceptive or projective. In other words, we either receive or transmit. For example, if you know who is at your front door before opening it, you are most probably perceptive, i.e., a good receiver. On the other hand, if you simply think of a person, and he or she calls on you, it is most likely that you are projective. In other words, a good transmitter.

If you have the patience, this can be a lot of fun and is relatively easy. Try and concentrate, focus your mind on somebody or someplace, and “will” that somebody to get in touch with you. This may take some time if the other person is not a good receiver. Nevertheless, it is quite probable that the other person will contact you much earlier than you would expect. Another simple, yet interesting, test is to try hard to "feel" which person is making contact with you. Make a strong effort to feel the vibrations, but try not to guess. Do not feel disappointed if neither of the two tests is successful because the mind can be tricky at times. Moreover, you'll be conducting such tests under imaginary conditions set by you. True telepathic power usually kicks in during an emergency, or other extreme occurrences.

Believe it or not, telepathic dreams can, and do, occur between two people. When two people dream of a person, place or thing, or even of each other, and later, discover the common distinct connection between their dreams, such people are, in effect, probably linking via the unconscious parts of each other's minds.

Telepathy has, and always will be, an exciting subject because the more intriguing and magical it appears, the more curious you'll be to learn more about it. That it works can be confirmed by hundreds of anecdotal examples. However, if you are a pseudo-believer, try and test your own telepathic abilities with a close friend. This may show you whether you are right or wrong in sitting on the fence.
