Sylvia Browne's 2008 Predictions

There isn't any doubt that almost everyone in America, and even the world, has heard of Sylvia Browne and her ability to predict the future and other psychic powers. She has become the new face of psychic readings gaining popularity on TV talk shows and by doing yearly predictions that are often quite accurate. Some might say she is the Nostradamus of the new era.

• Owen Wilson will slip into depression again, but will seek help again.
• Lindsay Lohan will make a comeback and clean up her act.
• Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will adopt another child and then divorce.
• The troops will slowly come home because other nations will pull out.
• George Bush's approval rating will sink even further.
• A Democrat will win the election.
• The stock market will continue to fail.
• There will be Diabetes breakthroughs
• Sound wave treatments for cancer will become available.
• There will be more tsunamis and Japanese earthquakes.

By looking at a few of these predictions in detail you can see the validity of Browne's predictions.

• This prediction for Lindsay Lohan may actually prove to be true. It has been a long time since she has been in the media spotlight and she has been in a few movies over the last year or so, making it seem possible for her to stand on her feet again.
• Celebrities are always hard to predict but in the case of Pitt/Jolie it seems Browne is already on the right track. They are not currently adopting but expecting their own children through pregnancy. No sign of divorce yet, but the year is still young.
• It seems as though the Presidents approval rating is always falling so at first that seems like an easy prediction, but the fact is George Bush's approval rating is lower now than any other president in history.
• The nation seems hungry for change and Barack Obama seems to be the cure they are looking for. He hasn't won the candidacy yet but he is on his way and McCain seems to have fallen out of the spotlight. America may see a Democrat as their next president.
• It is hard for anyone not to believe that medical breakthroughs aren't possible. People can only hope that Browne's predictions for Diabetes and Cancer treatments are in fact true!
• End of the world predictions such as natural disasters are almost as hard to predict as celebrities, but this year has already been riddled with disaster! There has not been a tsunami as of yet, but Japan has already experienced several earthquakes this year, some minor and some more intense. Not to mention the incredibly devastating earthquake in China. It may not be the same area but Browne does not promise exact results with end of the world predictions.

Whether you are a believer or not it is hard to ignore the fact that Sylvia Browne has been correct on her yearly predictions in the past. Not all of them, but she has hit a few right on the money. One of the main things that make Sylvia Browne believable is that she does not guarantee herself. She doesn't appear to be caught up with her own abilities and just wants to predict your future and the worlds future in the best way that she can. With that being said all you can do is sit back and wait for the predictions to come true or not.
