Ask any military General what the most fearsome of attacks by a known or unknown enemy would be, and they’ll tell you that a psychic attack of the mind is one of the most worrisome among all the available options. From the 1960’s, until 1985, when the U.S. government ended it’s training and testing of Remote Viewers, the military has wanted to develop a means by which a soldier could gain knowledge about an enemy threat through the use of their consciousness and psychic abilities. For the most part, this research involved the intelligence needs of any military to develop and execute war plans. It was in hopes of psychically retrieving information about a foe, that the procedures and protocols of Remote Viewing were taught and tested in order to train psychic spies. This training was given to personnel who would be responsible for expanding the use of Remote Viewing as a tool of war.

In the early 1970’s, the U.S. government contracted the Stanford Research Institute to research the possibility that events could be altered or discovered using only the power of the mind. It would become known as the Star Gate project, and it was staffed by psychics from the Stanford Institute and military personnel, handpicked by rank officials in governmental agencies including the military, C.I.A., N.S.A., and F.B.I. to be psychic spies. Once staffed, the psychics from SRI psychic training began the practice of Remote Viewing and consciousness awareness.

Remote Viewing is an act of interpreting subconscious signals to achieve an answer to a question using only the mind. Though this type of psychic ability test does not ask the Remote Viewer to come to a conclusion for a scenario on their own, the answer is rather an association to a picture or object unknown to the viewer. An example of Remote Viewing can be described like this. Answer a simple question “will the stock market go up or down tomorrow?” For the Remote viewer, they are asked the same question. They are also told that a picture associated with “up”, and a picture associated with “down” have been created in order to deliver the results of the test. Asking the remote viewer to interpret their consciousness and information they receive subconsciously from their mind, the remote viewer writes down what they feel represent the answer. After the Remote Viewer completes the task, the monitor can see what picture more closely matches what the viewer has written, and an association is made. The test concludes once the fact is known that the stock market went up or down. Once an answer is confirmed, the monitor will see if the answer was correct. The research shows that coincidence can be ruled out. Remote Viewing into the future can give you an answer that is correct in high enough percentages that the military thought it would be useful to have some psychic spies in their ranks. Remote Viewing for military purposes was what brought the phenomenon into the light of public opinion. The results are what kept it in military use up until 1985.
