Ask someone who knows a little about Remote Viewing training, and they will tell you that the U.S. military maintained a training manual and test protocols on this subject until the program was ended in 1985. At that time, the only documented uses of the procedures were closely held by private and governmental agencies which chose not to disclose the activities to the public. Not until the government’s documents were released to the public, did Remote Viewing procedures come to light. Ingo Swann was one of the trained psychics who were sent to help develop Remote Viewing training techniques and training procedures for the military from the Stanford Research Institute. Having been contracted by the U.S. Military to conduct experiments and develop protocols for the use of Remote Viewing, Ingo Swann created the training manual which contained the procedures to take when training someone to become an accurate Remote Viewer. Now that the military manual has been released to the public, it does not stand alone as the only information available on training individuals to Remote View information. Since the end of the government’s Star Gate program, some of the trainers and military personnel have created training methods outside of the government manual. Though all have their roots in the military process, the current military handbook stands as one of the most extensive manuals and training materials in Remote Viewing to date.

Structure is the most important factor in Remote Viewing training. In order to be assured the information received from the Remote Viewer is clear from obstacles and interferences which cause unreliable results, the entire process of Remote Viewing must be conducted under the strictest of protocols to insure the structure of the test is secure. Because the process can involve a number of stages to get to the final result, this strict structural framework must be followed throughout the entire process for the results to be accepted as free from contaminants. Taking the Remote Viewer through the stages of Controlled Remote Viewing will result in a response which is free from outside influences, is clear and accurate, and according to the results of thousands of experiments and tests, correct.
