There was this Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Cassie. One day, he chewed his master’s prescription sunglasses and broke it. The owner of the glasses have not consulted his optometrist for nearly two years and after the dog broke the eyepiece, the owner was forced to set an appointment to his doctor for a glass replacement. He was shocked to know that his eyes already had two growths on the back part and the doctor said it was already there for almost a year. The medical specialist emphasized that if he did not have his eyes checked; the growths would have multiplied and might lead to losing his sight.

After frequent visits, the doctor assured the man that there is nothing to worry about the growths anymore. At present, the man is completely healed after a series of medications. He was very thankful to his pet dog because if Cassie would not have chewed on his eyeglasses, he would not submit himself to an eye check-up. In addition, if he had not consulted his optometrist, he would not find out about the growth on his eyes that has been there for quite a long time already.

A true story happened sometime in New Years Day of 2001. A couple and their daughter were busy taking pictures of themselves that they can upload to their computer and send to relatives. The mother took pictures of her daughter on different areas of the house. One particular area was a place where their female fox terrier “Sister” had her bed. The place was her favourite place until she was put to sleep in March 2000. When the family was done taking pictures, they then turned to their computer to upload the photos. Normally, the file name of the photo was “MCV624”.

As they browsed through the photos, they were shocked to see the last picture with a filename of “Sister”. How could this happen? No one can explain. Since they have just put on the files, there was no chance of changing the filename yet. In addition, when they opened the said file, they were horrified to see the picture of their terrier lying in bed. The family was shocked. They cannot explain how their dog could be in that picture when in fact, she passed away months ago and the photo was just taken a few minutes ago that night. This made the family believe that Sister is still with them. It was her way to assuring the family that she is watching over her masters and her pet spirits are taking care of them, the way her masters took care of her.
