The different types of astrology relate to the civilization that practiced them. Chaldean Astrology was the astrology practiced by the Chaldeans who formed part of the Mesopotamian Civilization. This form of numerology resembled another form of numerology- the Vedic numerology of India. The Kabbalah numerology was the numerology practiced by the ancient Hebrews and is thought to have originated in ancient Egypt. Numerology as we know today bears a close resemblance to Pythagorean numerology developed by the Greek mathematician Pythagoras who is called the father of Numerology.

Chaldean numerology considered the number nine holy and sacred. It was considered the most vibrant of all numbers.
