[edit] JESUS CHRIST REINCARNATION

Many theorists believe that Jesus Christ was a reincarnation cycle of many entities before Him. Some of the people that theorists believe He was reincarnated from are the Old Testament characters Adam and Seth. Others believe that the resurrection and ascension He went through after the crucifixion was actually the reincarnation cycle process. All through the many changes that the New Testament went through, there is still so much indication and mention of reincarnation cycle.

This is quite a revelation to modern day believers of Jesus. Reincarnation is really more associated with Buddhism that Christianity. Christian Gnostics, more than any other Christian groups are strong believers of reincarnation and insist to this day that the knowledge they possess regarding reincarnation was due to the apostle's passing down to their specific group all the knowledge regarding reincarnation. Although the early Christians mostly did not promote reincarnation as a Christian belief, the Gnostics preserved the knowledge like gold.

Jesus himself did not really either promote or demote the subject of reincarnation. He seldom even mentioned the topic, and never even mentioned the word "reincarnation." Rather, he focused on other topics for discussion. Apparently, he put very little emphasis and importance on the event of reincarnation. Therefore, it is left to us to decide whether Jesus reincarnation is a fact of not. Alternatively, we do not know whether He Himself believed in it.

Why ancient Christians strongly discouraged and destroyed evidence of reincarnation is a mystery. In addition, just as strongly as the orthodox Christians destroyed the knowledge they possessed, the Gnostics were seeking to preserve their precious mysterious knowledge. Modern day Christians, on the other hand, do not believe in reincarnation at all. Reincarnation suggests a natural rebirth of a soul from his former human body, reborn into the new body of a new person in a new life. How is it possible to be saved without the salvation of Jesus Christ? Rebirth is only possible through Jesus Christ and not through reincarnation. Hebrews 9:27 says, "It is appointed for men to die once." Thus, there is no such thing as Jesus Reincarnation.

Modern day Christians also believe that reincarnation is a theory believed by people who want the easy way out. Why work so hard in this life when we are going to be recycled anyway? The reincarnation theory proclaims that we are all going to go through many lifetimes for our development. This then takes the pressure off trying to do a good job in this lifetime. No need to follow the commandments of Jesus. Reincarnation gives us so much time to better our lives. Why do now what we can do tomorrow? Indeed, it is the easy way out isn't it? How much easier our lives become if there is no need to try so hard. True Christian believers of these modern times read and follow the Bible doctrines strictly. Knowing what Jesus really said and being a true follower means studying his work, following the ten commandments and doing our best to make this life count, by praising and worshipping him and promoting his writings and teachings. Moreover, this has so little to do with reincarnation.
