Jeffrey had his first psychic experience when he was just six years old. When he was watching television, his grandmother appeared to him, and spoke to him, after she had been dead for over twenty three years. Since this event, Jeffrey knew he had a gift, and knew that he was meant to use this gift in his life’s work. After this first event, Jeffrey Wands experienced more and more psychic happenings, both in audio and visual format.

Jeffrey’s abilities did not stop at his ability to communicate with dead people. He was also able to predict information about people, and events that were yet to happen. To begin with, Jeffrey was unable to put a label to these abilities, but right from the start, he knew he was unlike anybody else. His abilities scared him in the beginning, and he hid them from his friends and family because he did not want anyone to think of him as a freak. However, he wasn’t always entirely successful in hiding it from others, as sometimes he could not help but blurt out scores to football games that had not happened yet, and so forth. These “outbursts” were most often very accurate, however, and this caused people to take notice of him.

Jeffrey Wands originally started off at St. Johns University studying to be a lawyer. He later changed his mind, and his major was changed to hospital administration. He knew his destiny was to help people, and he felt that working in a hospital would fulfil this. However, this changed one day when he was approached by a girl, who wanted him to use his psychic powers to help her get out of a bad relationship. Soon the word of Jeffrey A. Wands’ special abilities spread, and many more people wanted his help. Soon, Jeffrey realised his path to help people wasn’t in a hospital, but by making use of these powers he had been gifted with. He graduated with a degree in healthcare, but he decided to follow the path laid out for him as a psychic.

Jeffrey was married in 1988, to a nurse called Dawn, and together they have two sons, Christopher and Robert. When his first son was born, Jeffrey once again questioned his power as a psychic, as he did not want his son to grow up to be embarrassed of him. However, another psychic helped him to see that it wasn’t a choice, but a “calling” given to Jeffrey.
