The term indigo adult is one that is seldom heard, and not many people understand what the term means. Indeed, even those who are indigo adults are often unfamiliar with the term. It is often that when people read the specifications that it takes to be an indigo adult, they instantly see themselves being described, and many behaviors that have before been misunderstood are finally clear. Thus, it is important to define indigo.

[edit] What is an indigo adult?

An indigo adult, or an indigo child, is someone who is gifted, in a multitude of ways, including but not limited to, intelligence, creativity, and intuitivism. Commonly, people who are indigo are misunderstood and their behaviors are often marked down to ADHD or some other psychological behavioral problem. Indigo individuals are special; often rebellious and eccentric, and learning that the term 'indigo' exists could explain so much to indigo adults who have previously never heard of the term.

[edit] The indigo adult test

Whilst there is no official test that can be taken to prove whether a person is indigo or not, there is a list of characteristics that all indigo people carry in some form.
