Have You Been Saved by an Angel?

Have you ever called out “send me an angel” during a time of need or crisis in your life? Most people have, but not all people attribute the solution of their problems to the help of an angel. Some people believe angels are only spiritual beings who can come in the form of a human, while others have nothing to do with the spiritual and see human beings with amazing hearts of love as the angels in our everyday lives.

Some people claim to have not only been saved by an angel, but have said to seen an angel. They say they have had an actual physical or spiritual interaction with an angelic being. Their descriptions vary somewhat, but most people say angels are full of light, are peaceful and have wings. Some say angels are somewhat lighted beings, but looked more human to them. The basic concept here is that when you ask God to “send me an angel” you may not get exactly what you expect.

These are stories where miraculous events occurred. Someone was stuck in a tight situation and hung between life and death when something no one could explain happened, and it is considered miraculous in nature. Most people with these types of stories will say, “God did send me an angel when I needed it the most.” With these stories there are usually no physical sightings of any spiritual being. Most people who have miraculous and unexplained stories like this go by their gut feelings and instincts when they attribute a miracle to being of angelic origin.

These are stories you may hear everyday. Someone was about to file bankruptcy and the money he needed to avoid that came into his life through another person. Someone has a fear of speaking in public, but felt that fear leave suddenly when it was time to get up and make the speech. Many people credit everyday occurrences to angels helping them when they were trying to get through a hard time.

• Religious Angels
  • There are many religions and, therefore, many religious angels. In some faiths, all angels are equal and perform whatever task God tells them to do. Other faiths believe these angels are created individually and, therefore, have individual tasks they were made to uphold throughout human existence. Every faith believes their path, or way, is the only way and, do not agree that all of these angels are angels of light.

• Human Angels
  • Unlike religious angels, human angels are seen everyday. They may not be the spiritual angels, but when someone helps out or lends us a much needed hand, it is not uncommon for us to tell them, or think of them as our guardian angel or saving grace.

While there are different types of angels, they all can be of help when we're stuck in a tight spot or surrounded by crisis and need the loving, helping hand of someone or something, to get us the strength to escape.
