Edgar Cayce had a problem. He lost his voice. Born and raised in Kentucky, it’s a new century and Edgar has become struck by an affliction of the voice, which left him unable to continue his work selling insurance. He attended a show performed by a well-known hypnotist, and was placed into a trance state by the performer. To an amazed crowd, Edgar’s voice returned. Though attempts to have his voice available after being awakened were unsuccessful, the treatment did work over time. Edgar Cayce is on his way through training to become a developed psychic healer with the ability to interact with an astral plane, which contains records of time. The Akashic Records were utilized in future readings of Edgar Cayce as he learned that “we” is not the same as “I”.

Edgar Cayce would become a subject and teacher of hypnotic trance state and described the experience through his visions. After healing his voice by interacting within his body to alleviate his distress, he continued to work with others to cure the afflictions of many. In his healing state, he was able to describe his interactions, and he spoke of the Akashic records. He would return with the knowledge of the record and inform the one who requested it, how to find a treatment for the problem. He would, at times, only console for there would be found no cure. It was this type of information that took a toll on the emotional states of Edgar Cayce. Akashic records contained the entire history of time and space. Past, present, and future events could be interpreted for what they were. Cayce could create descriptions from a place in time that had effect on the souls of the few. In the Edgar Cayce Akashic record, he claimed passage to a place that contains the thoughts of all, and the occurrences of time. Here he could find the cure for all that was wrong with the world. Even though he could not help everyone, he continued to work to cure all.

When healing from the trance, he did not speak of self. He did not speak in a first person as “I bring forth healing”, but instead it was “We bring forth healing”. It was with these statements that many felt he was actually working in conjunction with a higher entity, which could manipulate the process of the life force energy, which effects man. He was enticed many times by men of wealth who had offered sums of money to foresee their interested news. His attempts were not successful, and he returned to healing where he had results that exceeded many expectations during his time of healing. It is said that he performed 10’s of thousands of sessions, and many are recorded for history to judge. The success of Edgar Cayce was so well known that there are hospitals and teaching centers devoted to his efforts and endeavors. His legacy lies in his ability to expand the human consciousness using a trance connection with the center of all recorded time and space. Edgar Cayce Akashic readings served the “we” instead of the “I”.
