Dannion Brinkley

The name Dannion Brinkley may not be as well known as others in the psychic world, but this man does have many followers. If you are not familiar with him, it is worth a visit to his official website, Dannion.com, to learn more about this amazing man. For the uninitiated, we will take a closer look at the man and his mission.

[edit] Near Death Experience

In September of 1975, at the age of 25, Dannion Brinkley suffered what is known as a near death experience. To put it simply, he died and was revived. This came about due to being struck by lightning while talking on the telephone. He watched as paramedics, and then doctors at the emergency room, tried to revive him. He was clinically dead for 28 minutes and had even been sent to the morgue. Fortunately, he was able to make it back into his body and begin breathing to make the sheet over his face move. Someone noticed that he was not yet ready to be buried.

During this near death experience, Dannion claims to have met what he calls a Being of Light. There was a lot of knowledge regarding future events of the world imparted to him during this experience. When he was revived, he began to share this knowledge, although members of his family and close friends didn’t really want to hear about his adventure.

Dannion received over 300 world predictions during his near death experience. There were 117 world events that were shown to him that would take place between 1975 and 2012. By the year 2002, about 100 of those global events had already happened. These events included the Chernobyl nuclear accident, the former Soviet Union’s break up, the Earth’s climate changes, the Gulf War, and technology breakthroughs.

During Dannion’s near death experience, he was instructed to build centers made up of 7 rooms. The purpose of these centers would be to teach people how to reduce stress in their lives so they could become acquainted with their own personal essences. The 7 rooms were to be a therapy room, a massage clinic, a sensory deprivation chamber, a bio feedback room, a psychic reading room, a musical therapy room, and a reflection chamber. These centers are currently in the designing stage.

Dannion and his wife, Kathryn, have both received visions regarding 2012, which some believe will be the “end of the world.” While neither of them subscribe to this theory, they both do believe that major changes will occur.

Dannion believes that there will be tremendous mental and spiritual changes which will coincide with a giant physical upheaval. Whatever this turns out to be, he feels that the population as a whole, will be prepared. Neither Dannion nor Kathryn seems to fully understand what is to come. However, they both do feel confident that there will be changes at that time.

Through his 3 separate near death experiences, Dannion has not only become clear on world events, but on how he needed to change on a more personal level. His work is becoming widely known not only in the psychic arena, but as an author and a friend to humanity over all.
